About Emma

Emma Gonzales Trimble is an ordained minister with Peace Ministries and a longtime servant‑leader in Uvalde County. She has coordinated the National Day of Prayer locally, bringing churches, families, and neighbors together in faith and unity. As a facilitator for The Parent Project, she works directly with parents and youth to strengthen homes and address challenges before they become crises. Emma also leads in Republican politics as President of Uvalde County Republican Women and as a Republican Precinct Chair, helping give local conservatives a strong and organized voice. Drawing on her experience as a business owner in medical manufacturing and consulting, she understands budgets, regulations, and the importance of accountability in every decision.

Emma's Priorities for Uvalde County

Protecting our land, water, and air:


Emma will champion responsible environmental stewardship so Uvalde County’s water, land, and air are protected for future generations, while respecting property rights and supporting ranchers, farmers, and small businesses. She will work with state and local partners to ensure growth never comes at the expense of the natural resources our families depend on.

Stronger families, safer communities:


Emma is committed to solution‑oriented support for families, juveniles, and law enforcement through genuine community collaboration. She will support programs that help parents, strengthen youth services, and give law enforcement the tools they need so that intervention happens early and public safety remains a top priority.

Transparent and fiscally responsible government:


As County Judge, Emma will insist on transparent governance, clear communication, and fiscal accountability in every budget decision. She will work to ensure that taxpayer dollars are used wisely, that meetings and processes are open and accessible, and that every resident is treated with fairness and respect.

Emergency readiness and public safety:


Uvalde County needs fortified emergency readiness to protect every neighborhood in times of crisis. Emma will prioritize planning, training, and coordination among first responders, schools, health providers, and local agencies so that when emergencies happen, our county is prepared, responsive, and resilient.

Roads, bridges, and infrastructure that work:


Emma will focus on improving roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure to meet today’s needs and support future growth. She will work closely with commissioners, state partners, and local stakeholders to target the worst problem areas first, improve safety, and support economic development throughout Uvalde County.
